The Swim Club features a pool with diving boards and a wading pool that is great for small kids who aren't ready to make the plunge into the deep water. Lifeguard’s are on hand to ensure the safety of your family and guests as they enjoy the water.

PLEASE NOTE: During Wavemakers, swim team, practices and meets, the pool is closed to members.  

SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK RULES AND HOURS OF OPERATION 

  • Mark Trail Club facility and pool will be open to adult members (aged 18+) and paying guests WITHOUT a lifeguard present between 8am and 2pm, Monday-Sunday (7 days a week) May 26th-August 7th. Please note from May 26th - June 26th, our Wavemakers swim team practices from 8:30am – 11am, and the pool will be closed to all non-swim team members during those hours.
  • The pool WILL have a lifeguard on duty seven days a week from 2pm – 8pm. Regular adult swim times will still apply for 15 minutes every hour. 
  • The pool officially opens for the season Thursday, May 23rd, at 4 pm. However, from 8am May 5th - 4pm May 23rd, MTC adult members (aged 18+) may use the facility and pool without a lifeguard. All non-swim team MTC members and guests must leave the facility before 5pm Mon-Thurs due to Wavemakers swim practice beginning at 5:30pm. 

POOL RULES 

  • Our top priority is to ensure the safety of our members and families, and we appreciate your understanding of the importance of following the pool rules below and any additional rules that are added, especially during SAYOR hours. 
  • From 8am – 2pm daily, NO ONE under 18 is EVER allowed to enter the pool or gated pool area without an accompanying adult who is 18 or older. ALL babysitters and nannies must be 18 or older. ANY violation of this rule will result in your family’s SAYOR privileges being revoked. Minor babysitters are allowed to attend with children during lifeguard hours, 2pm – 8pm. 
  • Do not share the gate code with anyone who is not a Mark Trail Club member.
  • Upon entering or leaving the pool, PLEASE make sure you close it each time and listen to make sure the gate latches. DO NOT prop or leave the gate open during SAYOR 8am-2pm.
  • The guard house will be locked during SAYOR hours. A phone has been installed outside the shack should you need to call 911 or make other local calls. 
  • The bathrooms are no longer locked with a key but are latched so members can access them during SAYOR hours. 
OTHER RULES TO REMEMBER
  • While alcohol is allowed at Mark Trail Club, NO GLASS is permitted anytime. 
  • Any baby or not yet potty-trained child entering EITHER the baby pool or regular pool ANYTIME MUST wear a swim diaper covered by a cloth swim diaper covering. Because fecal contamination results in the pool being closed automatically for 24 hours, we ask you to be vigilant in checking your child regularly and changing diapers as needed. 
  • When lap swimming during SAYOR hours, please use the buddy system and arrange to meet a friend or swimming partner at the pool. We STRONGLY discourage anyone from swimming alone at any time. 
  • NO CHILDREN are allowed in the guard house at ANY time.  
  • PLEASE be respectful of other members and the Swim Atlanta staff and clean up after yourself. Ensure ALL trash is placed into the trash can or recycling containers immediately. Please leave the BATHROOMS and POOL AREA clean, as we do not have a cleaning person on staff.

GUEST POLICY & FEES
  • Guest fee is $5/person ($20/family maximum) and is to be placed in the black box to the left
    of the snack shack or paid via Venmo
  • Guest fee is waived for caregivers
  • Guests inside the 30328 zip code are allowed a max of 5 visits per season and subject to the guest fee for each visit. This rule is intended to encourage membership in MTC and to discourage excessive usage by Non-members
  • Guests outside the 30328 zip code, but within the Atlanta metro area, are allowed unlimited visits and subject to the guest fee for each visit
  • Guests who reside outside of the Atlanta metro area may be admitted as guests without charge
